How much will it cost to find out what's wrong with my computer?

Zero. At Stan’s Tech Garage all evaluations are always FREE. Just stop by our West Hollywood location to drop off your computer and we’ll figure out what’s wrong with it. 

How much will it cost to repair my computer?

The majority of our services are charged at a set price, not hourly. This gives you the advantage of knowing the costs upfront instead of having to wonder how long a repair might take. Our prices are very competitive and our technicians are top notch. 

What kind of services do you provide?

If it connects to the internet or a computer, we can handle it! From Data Recovery to Home Theater set up, we offer a comprehensive set of tech services available in-store, at home, or online. 

Where can I get service?

You can visit us in-store at either our West Hollywood or Santa Monica repair shops for a drop-off or call to schedule on-site visit. Remote service online is also available. Contact us to see which option is best for your needs and budget.

Who are your customers?

Our customers are individuals and small businesses who simply want affordable, great service. We started as a neighborhood West Hollywood shop, but quickly gained loyal customers throughout greater Los Angeles. We are truly flattered to have people come to us from as far as Encino, Manhattan Beach and even Orange County, just because they trust us with their computers. 

How long will it take to fix my computer?

We undertstand how important your computer is to you. We couldn’t live without ours either, so we make every effort to give you the fastest turnaround possible. Same-day turnaround is available for many services, and others take 1-3 days, just depending on what parts your system needs. 

When can I come in?

We are one of the few computer service centers in Los Angeles open 7 days a week: Monday-Friday 10am-8pm and Saturday & Sunday 12pm-5pm. We also provide after-hours on-site support if you have a tech emergency.

Can you help me find a computer that's right for me?

Absolutely, we are always happy to give you our expert advice when it comes to making technology decisions. Just ask for a free computer consultation. We know it can be confusing to walk into a big electronics store and feel like you’re getting the up-sell on a lot of stuff you might not need. We pride ourselves in giving you our honest feedback, whether you decide to order a computer through us or not. Although we do not carry computers in-store, we offer highly competitive pricing directly from manufacturers. We  can also assist you with setting your new system up and personalizing it just for you!

Do you offer On-Site service?

Absolutely! Any of our IT Specialists would love to assist you at your place of business, home, or home office! We offer appointments seven days a week. These sessions typically happen during our regular business hours, but we will do our best to accommodate your busy schedule. We cover an approximate 7 mile radius from our West Hollywood location.

How much does On-Site Service Cost?

An onsite service call is $240 for up to 2 hours of service. In the rare event the issue you’re experiencing requires additional time, it would be $120/hr thereafter.

Do you fix iPhone/iPad/Android/etc?

We do not perform any hardware repairs on mobile devices such as screen replacement, water damage, or other physical repairs. We do offer software services on these types of devices such as integrating with your email, calendar, contacts and other applications.

Are there any discounts for Ongoing Service?

Should you need ongoing service, you may want to consider one of our Support Bundles. Available in 10, 20, or 30 hour packs, the rate would be discounted to $100, $90, or $80/hr respectively. On-Site visits still carry a 2 hour minimum charge against your plan. Remote support is charged in half-hour increments. Bundles are good up to one calendar year from purchase date.
